Bruce D. Maze

Energetic, Diligent, PerseverantBruce D. Maize joined the ORR Builders Team January 2023. Bruce brings over 30 years of land development, homebuilding and general construction management experience to the company. Long recognized as a leader within the industry, he has managed projects throughout the entire Coachella Valley that span the spectrum of land entitlement to luxury custom homes.
Professional Experience
Bruce relocated from the San Francisco Bay Area in the late 1980's to work for the developer of the Desert Princess Resort and found a home with this move. Since his arrival he has been part of the construction of over 3,000 homes. Some of the project highlights include the Vibe in Palm Springs, Desert Princess County Club in Cathedral City, Mission Hills County Club in Rancho Mirage, Montecito in Palm Desert, the Madison Club in La Quinta and Lido in Indio. As a former President of the Building Industry Association Board of Directors and founding director and former Board President of the Desert Valleys Builders Association he has also made a long-term commitment to contributing time and energy back to the industry.
Bruce is a graduate of UC Berkeley with a degree in Economics and earned an MBA from Pepperdine University. He also holds both a California General Contractors License and Real Estate Brokers License. Coupled with his management experiences, a comprehensive knowledge of the industry and long-term relationships with the governing agencies he brings a great complement to the ORR Builders organization.
Personal Life
Bruce met his wife in the Coachella Valley where they have raised their two children. He is an avid cyclist and golfer and balances his work life with these activities. He maintains his loyalty to Bay Area sport teams regardless of his ties to the desert. Bruce is committed in his work to "never settle for good enough, always prepare to do and accept only the best possible outcome".
